It made you see a familiar object in a different way. I really enjoyed this conference. This is a great activity to do with groups of students in school or as a project at home.

A class of students will enjoy and learn from this presentation. Although it will be designed to help teachers learn how to do the lesson themselves, much of the presentation will be doing inquiry-based activities with the participants. For a preview, check out the "Stamp Stories" lesson plan on the Postal Museum Exhibit Hall page.

Hi,
I am the Access Facilitator at a school and I want to know if the session “Stamp Stories: Philatelic Images of Abraham Lincoln and the Civil War” by Jeff Meade is mainly just for teachers or will a class of students find this interesting as well? Thanks!
